How to Make Sure Your Digital Marketing Won’t Work

Do you want to improve your digital marketing, but aren’t sure what will work?
If you have tried various digital marketing plans, and they haven’t brought new business, you may be making a few mistakes. Good news is, they are easy to fix. Stop doing these three things to improve your results without spending extra time.
#1 Doing Marketing activities you hate:
For any marketing to work it must be consistent.
Few people want to do something they hate over and over. I may stay fit running marathons, but I hate running. There are many methods for fitness, and there are many methods to market online. Find one that you like. This helps you be consistent, to learn how to do it effectively, and your clients can feel you are enjoying it.
#2 Marketing to Everyone, Someone or All:
I need you to tell me if what you have is for me. Are you solving my problem?
By marketing to “anyone who . . .” or “everyone that might” I don’t know if you can help ME. Your potential clients need to see themselves in your marketing. Pick one problem and one client.
#3 Your Marketing is not clear:
It’s tempting to be cute or clever. But confusion always equals “no”.
Have you ever seen a TV commercial and wondered who it’s for and what they’re selling? It’s a waste of time and money. Your message is the most important part of your marketing. Clearly state who it’s for and what problem you solve in a way your potential clients know it’s for them. This one thing will improve your conversion rates.
